The 2026 theme, Costume Art, asked guests to treat clothes as sculpture. The best looks of the night did exactly that, while still looking like something a person could move in.

Old Hollywood, rebuilt

Margot Robbie and Hailey Bieber went for column gowns with strong structure: draped satin, a sculpted gold bodice, clean lines from top to bottom.

Colour and shine

Kim Kardashian chose a liquid orange satin and Sabrina Carpenter a sheer, embellished gown with a jewelled headpiece. Colman Domingo brought the most fun look of the night with a patchwork harlequin coat.

Soft and romantic

Ayo Edebiri and Kendall Jenner kept it light with white and ivory drapes, feathers and ruffles. It showed that costume can also mean delicate.
